Breaking "grounds" - Join us at Spyhouse coffee Dec. 20th!

With four after-school drumlines in St. Paul, Chops is poised to serve more youth, and we're partnering with Spyhouse Coffee Roasters to help fund this important work.

This fall, Chops' partnership with SPPS expanded with the addition of drumlines at Highland and Murray Middle Schools. Our after-school programs caught the attention of St. Paul’s business community, and we're delighted to announce that Spyhouse Coffee Roasters' St. Paul cafe is hosting a fundraiser with Chops on December 20th, 2023.

“The Spyhouse team understands the importance of quality after-school programs,” said Michael Finney, Chops' program developer. “Come on out and show your support for urban youth over a cup of coffee at Spyhouse on December 20th!”

From 3 - 6 p.m. on 12/20/2023, Chops will offer live cafe-style music acts alongside great coffee. Can't make it for the music? Come anytime during business hours! A portion of all sales on December 20th will go to support our after-school drumline programs.

Did you know? In America today,7.6 million children are alone and unsupervised after school, due in part to a lack of quality extracurricular activities. Come on out for our fundraiser and be part of the solution!

A huge thank you to Spyhouse Coffee Roasters for partnering with Chops to support St. Paul youth. Proceeds from the event will help fund our after-school drumline programming in 2024. See you on December 20th at 420 Snelling Ave South!
