Each year, Chops brings two dozen steel drums into low-income classrooms across the Twin Cities where we provide free 4-8 week residencies. Our school residencies reach around 2,000 students every year, but the waitlist for a new residency is currently over three years long. We need your help to launch a second full-time residency program so we can shorten the waitlist and reach thousands more students each year!

Free for everyone who needs it
For over 35 years, Chops has been improving lives through music education and performing arts. Pan Outreach brings free residencies to low-income K-12 schools. Pan Camp gives kids and adults a free week of steel pan every summer. Our two bands, Pan-Handlers and Tin Cups, are completely free to join. We need your help to grow our programs while keeping them free and open to everyone.
