Chops Custom blend now available at Dogwood Coffee!

All Profits support Chops' youth programs

Chops is partnering with Dogwood Coffee Co. this month to provide a custom coffee blend - the Chops blend - as part of Dogwood's Coffee for Others program. Dogwood chooses one community partner each month to benefit from sales of a custom coffee blend. For January only, that community partner is Chops, Inc!

On sale this month only - purchase in person or online!

Don't miss your chance to support Chops' youth music education programs this month by purchasing a bag of this delicious custom blend of Mexican and Columbian washed beans. All profits from purchases of the Chops blend go directly to Chops to support our youth programs. Grab a bag online or in one of Dogwood’s cafes through the end of the month to help us reach our collective goal of selling 250 bags of this delicious blend.

Coffee sales support new, accessible percussion competition

In partnership with the Minnesota Percussion Association (MPA), and supported by community fundraising partners including Dogwood Coffee Co, Chops is launching a new accessible class of percussion competition in 2024. We also continue to partner with St. Paul Public Schools to bring drumline opportunities to urban-core schools as part our after-school programming.

This new class of competition, centered on communal equipment, supplies, and professional guidance, will debut at the February 10th and April 6th MPA competitions. Any marching percussion group that wants to join the MPA circuit will now have access to a full-sized, professional quality set of marching drums and stands at these shows, including related supplies and optional professional guidance through the performance process.
