Chops, Inc., a nonprofit focused on making the marching arts accessible and sustainable, is currently hiring a ballet/modern dance instructor for a part-time contract beginning December 2021.
This teacher will help our competitive Winterguard program provide a strong foundation of dance technique in a supportive environment so that all of our members grow to their highest potential.
The dance instructor will lead two-hour dance blocks (including breaks & warm-down) on Saturdays 11 am - 1 pm from December '21 - March '22 in Plymouth, MN. The specific timeframe on Saturdays is negotiable but must be consistent from week to week.

We’re looking for ballet/modern/lyrical styles.
Our students' skill level is beginner/intermediate, primarily ages 14-18.
Our ideal instructor has significant ballet/modern training, including a B.A. in dance and/or extensive studio experience.
Covid-19 requirements:
All staff and participants must wear a mask.
Proof of vaccination or weekly Covid testing required.
Pay starts at $60/hour. The final rate is negotiable depending on your experience.
