TAYSHA TURMAN (she/her)

I am a drug and alcohol counselor. I received my degree in Minneapolis.  I love theatre arts I spent my whole life, *since age 9* trying to make my dream come true of being an actress. I literally had a dream on a road trip and woke up, turned to my mom and told her I wanted to act, and since that day I've dabbled in a lot of auditions, gigs and most recently I joined NTC, given the privilege to tour and put on educational shows for elementary students.

 

I love to paint, I'm big on colors and bringing things to life! I find peace in nature! I love a good nature walk and being near the water of "10,000 lakes".

 

As part of being a board member, I plan to make an impact and get involved in all areas that I can. My hope for the future is to open my own nonprofit for the youth who may have struggled with substance abuse. I want to help them find the joy in arts and theatre, turning a negative into a positive way to cope with life.
