Sarah Sevcik Tummala brings experience in public health, education, and strategic planning to the Chops Board of Directors. As a Patient Education Specialist at Gillette Children's, she leads initiatives that improve patient and family education and expand equitable access to health information. Throughout her career, Sarah has been passionate about helping people learn, grow, and thrive through education. Her background includes teaching, curriculum development, community engagement, and program evaluation, with a focus on creating meaningful learning experiences and fostering inclusive environments where individuals can build confidence, develop new skills, and reach their full potential.
 

Sarah believes that music education is a powerful tool for developing leadership, resilience, creativity, teamwork, and a sense of belonging. She is inspired by Chops' commitment to helping young people discover their strengths and achieve excellence through music. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys biking, reading, exploring new places, and seeking out adventures with her family. One of her greatest joys is watching her two children learn, grow, and discover the world around them. She is honored to support Chops' mission and help expand opportunities for young people across the community.
