MIKE JACKSON (he/him)

Operations Manager

Mike holds a B.S. in biology from North Dakota State University, is a Certified Crop Advisor, and completed coursework in applied agronomy at the University of Illinois. He holds a Class A CDL and is an Eagle Scout. He has 25 years of professional experience, including seven years in sales and operations for agricultural supply companies, five years at Monsanto, and extensive work in the trades wholesale sector. He has expertise in field and crop management as well as disease, pest and weed identification and management. 

 

Mike began volunteering for Chops in 2016 when his daughter joined Color Guard. He served on Chops' board from 2017 - January 2022, including two years as Vice Chair. In his role as Operations Manager, he manages Chops’ inventory and fleet of vehicles and trailers, and supervises the logistics of transporting Chops’ instruments and equipment to and from shows and parades.

 

Mike enjoys home construction, remodeling, and wilderness camping.
