EM ANTIN (all pronouns)

Treasurer, Board of Directors

Em studied Percussion, Political Science, & Non-Profit Management at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. They left UW-Whitewater after her junior year of college and transferred to MusicTech (now McNally Smith College of Music), where she studied Music Studio Engineering. Realizing that the school was not a fit for her learning style, Em transferred to Metropolitan State University where she received her bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies, focusing on Political and Cultural Studies.

She currently teaches private lesson students on most percussive instruments, and takes on the occasional rhythm guitar student. Her style is one of using both traditional music and modern music to allow the student to develop a passion to play all musical forms.

Along with being a private music instructor, Em has a long history of working with music- and youth-focused nonprofits in the Twin Cities Metro Area. She also plays with various musical artists around the Twin Cities, and has released three studio albums of original musical works.

His passion for kids has them leading many youth events at his church, including the Youth Band, and they are currently working as a drumline instructor for a South Minneapolis high school.
