Hello, my name is Derrick Gichaba. I have been dancing professionally for four years but I have been really dancing my whole life. I am a self-trained street dancer from the Twin Cities Metro area. I started to teach myself how to dance when I was in 7th grade. I started off learning how to Breakdance for two years, after which I started learning Hip Hop freestyle. I have been teaching for three years now and continue to dance and travel and grow as a dancer.
