BRANDON MICKELSEN (HE/HIM)

Member-at-Large, Board of Directors

Brandon is an associate attorney at the Lathrop GPM law firm in Minneapolis. There, he works with large and small franchisors both domestically and internationally and is actively involved in the firm's diversity and inclusion efforts. Brandon brings to the Board a background in public service and a dedication to giving back to the community. Brandon holds a B.S. in Supply Chain Management from Iowa State University and a J.D. from the University of St. Thomas. While attending the University of St. Thomas School of Law, he was the president of the school's Public Service Board where he coordinated school-wide efforts to promote public service events throughout the Twin Cities.

Brandon is also passionate about music. He performed on the drumline in high school where he played bass drum, tenors, and snare. He continues to play the drums and can be seen around Minneapolis performing in a local band. Brandon believes that music education not only promotes creativity but develops a mindset of hard work and dedication that can be applied to all aspects of life. He is excited to join the Chops Inc. board and help others pursue their musical passions.
