Kathy is a professional artist and has owned her own studio art business for nearly 30 years. Her current artistic focus is on functional and decorative fused-glass fine art pieces.

 

Kathy also has extensive compliance and accounting experience and has been Chops’ charitable gambling operation’s gambling manager since 2018. Previously, she was co-director of Chops’ Drum Corps program, and provided org-wide coordination services for Chops. Kathy has been a member of Chops’ Board of Directors since 2019.

 

Kathy was involved in the marching arts in the early 1980s when she marched in the color guard with the St. Croix Rivermen. She took a long hiatus but re-connected when her daughter began marching with Chops Color Guard in 2016.

 

Kathy is from Cottage Grove, Minnesota and holds an undergraduate degree in fine and studio arts.
