CHAD ANDERSON (he/him)

Member-at-Large, Board of Directors

Chad played tenors and was drumline captain at a local high school, and then performed for a season at the University of Minnesota before hanging up his sticks in the early 90s.  While still passionate about supporting music and music education, he would need someone to follow with a broom and dustpan for all the rust if he were to perform today.

Chad has a professional background in project management, PMO creation, and strategic planning.  He has been lucky enough to learn and grow with great professionals in organizations across the Twin Cities, and across the country as a consultant.  He holds multiple project management and IT certifications, as well as a BS in IT Management, an MBA, and is pursuing a certificate of specialization in strategy from Harvard Business School, expecting to wrap up in December 2021. As an avid learner, he will likely pursue additional certifications or degrees after that.

During his career, Chad has had the privilege of visiting every US state, and several countries. On each trip, he had the opportunity to learn about the local customs, culture, food, and music, and he believes that these elements can bring us together as a community.

Chad is passionate about building better capabilities within teams, focusing on improving the people, processes, tools, and metrics within and organization in order to lead to happier teams and better results.

In his free time, he is a constant learner, loving both formal and informal learning, collects movie props, and just about anything Star Wars or Disney related. He travels regularly and especially enjoy trips to Disney World, or Disney Cruises.
