BRUCE JASKULKE (he/him)
Secretary, Board of Directors
Chops 2005 Class A DCA Champion
Bruce has been involved in drum corps since 1982, when he played Contra Bass with the St. Peter-based Govenaires. The highlight of his drum corps career was performing in the 2005 Class A DCA Champions with Chops, Inc! Bruce also had the pleasure of marching in the Cotton Bowl parade representing Drum Corps Midwest, and as he says, "It still gives me goosebumps to play with high caliber members." After a brief hiatus, he volunteered for Chops, Inc., transporting members and equipment to shows and parades.
Bruce graduated with an Associate of Arts Degree in radio and television production from Brown Institute. Born and raised in Minnesota, he and his wife live in White Bear township. He has 2 kids, 3 step-kids and 6 step-grandkids. He recently retired after 25 years in the airline industry as a baggage handler.
He enjoys golfing (as he says, "Not anywhere good enough for the pro tour!") fishing, and volunteering for Special Olympics Minnesota. He hosted and produced a Public Access Television show for sponsored events that highlighted Special Olympics athletes. Bruce is delighted to continue his service to Chops, Inc. as a board member.
