VICTORIA WEINBERG (she/her)
Member-at-Large, Board of Directors
Vicki has more than 30 years of professional experience improving the quality of education for students at risk of dropping out and students with disabilities. Her work experience includes teacher, adjunct professor, program developer, researcher, and policy maker, spanning the public and nonprofit sectors. She holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota and is currently an Education Specialist for the Minnesota Department of Education and an adjunct professor at University of St. Thomas.
Vicki, a military brat, hails from her adopted home state of Wyoming. She has been involved with Color Guard, Drum and Bugle Corps since 1986. Inspired by watching old shows in the band room as a freshman in high school, she jumped at the chance to join Blue Knights in 1986, marching until she aged out in 1991 with Phantom Regiment. Vicki rejoined the sport with her two children in 2016, and continued through winter and summer seasons with Chops’ Winterguard in 2018.
Even though her children have moved on, she evolved her commitment to Chops by joining the board in 2019.
